9:00am- Breakfast at Blue Plate Cafe!

Start your day at the Blue Plate Cafe, one of the locals’ fave spot for home cooked food. Omelets, pancakes, French toast, burritos and hashbrown- they do it all for breakfast. Order a coffee and indulge in southern favorites like biscuits, country ham and grits. Always packed, so better to get there early!

10:00am- Alabama history and art at EarlyWorks Children's History Museum!

Get transported to the 1819 Alabama at the EarlyWorks Children’s History Museum. It has many hands-on exhibits illustrating the history of the state. It features a talking tree that tells the Alabama story from the statehood to the present day, a 46 foot keelboat, period clothing and several touchable displays. It is a perfect place for children to play, learn and discover the past!

11:00am- Experience life in 1800s at Alabama Constitution Village!

Just a minute walk from EarlyWorks Children Museum is the Alabama Constitution Village that allows you to walk through the history of Alabama. Explore the 200 year old heritage of Alabama at this village. The villagers dress in period costumes and take you through the Alabama history by visiting the restored historic buildings and structures. After soaking up the Alabama history, smell the aroma of the freshly baked cookies, browse the gift shop and check out the items prepared by the local artisans, and get candies and treats in the confectionery shop.

12:00pm- Dive into Huntsville Museum of Art!

The next stop is the Huntsville Museum of Art where you can peruse the interesting exhibitions. The museum houses an eclectic collection of art spanning centuries. It has an extensive collection of nineteenth and twentieth century art and works from Europe, Asia, America and Africa are on display. 3:00pm- Experience the flora at Huntsville Botanical Garden!

Next, make your way over to the Huntsville Botanical Garden to experience the nature.
